The beprojectmanager.com website (hereinafter "the Site") is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This policy explains how your data is processed, whether you browse anonymously or use the member area.

1. Browsing without registration (Visitors)

For visitors who browse the Site without creating an account, we do not collect any personally identifiable data (names, e-mail addresses, named IP addresses).

We only collect non-personal statistical data in order to analyze traffic and improve the reading experience:

• The total number of visitors.
• The most-viewed articles and pages.
• The type of browser and device used.

This information is anonymous and can never be used to identify you personally.

2. Member area and collection of personal data

When you choose to create an account on the Site to access member-only features, we collect the following required information: your last name, first name, e-mail address, profession and company.

Compliance note — Collecting a postal address and date of birth being disproportionate for access to a blog member area (data minimization principle under Art. 5 of the GDPR), this data is not required.

3. Purposes of processing member data

The data collected when you create your account is used exclusively to:

• Manage your access to the member area.
• Allow you to publish comments on articles.
• Remember your list of favorite articles.
• Keep a history of your last 10 reads to make navigation easier.

No personal data is transferred to third parties or sold.

4. No marketing e-mails or promotional mailings

The Site does not send any advertising e-mail, newsletter, or commercial solicitation. Your e-mail address is used solely for identifying and technically managing your account.

To follow new blog posts without cluttering your mailbox, we recommend setting up the Site's RSS feed in a content aggregator (such as Feedly).

As a member, you have full control over your data at any time directly from your personal space settings:

• Right of access and export — You can download all of your data in a structured, reusable format.

The Site does not use advertising or commercial tracking cookies. The cookies used are strictly necessary for the Site's technical operation, in particular to keep your session open in the member area and remember your display preferences.

7. Hosting

The Site is hosted by Aruba.it. The host may collect server logs for security, maintenance and attack-prevention purposes. These logs are managed under Aruba.it's own privacy policy and are never cross-referenced with our member databases.

The Site may contain links to other external websites. This policy applies only to beprojectmanager.com. We invite you to review the privacy policies of any external sites you visit.

9. Changes to this privacy policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the Site's features or to applicable regulations. Any major change will be announced on this page.

10. Devices and notifications

When you are signed in to your TheClub account on a phone or tablet, we record a random technical identifier created by your browser, the type of device (Android, iPhone or iPad), the browser family, how you use the site (browser or installed app), the name you give the device, and the dates of your first visit, installation and last use. If you turn on notifications, we also keep the technical subscription details provided by your browser, so that we can let you know when new articles are published in your preferred language. We do not collect your IP address, your exact device model or any device fingerprint. You can pause notifications or remove a device at any time from the "Devices" section of your profile, and this data is included in your data export. A removed device no longer receives any notifications; its history (device type and dates) is kept for statistical purposes for up to 24 months, then deleted. All of this data is erased if you unsubscribe or anonymise your account.
